For more than thirty years, Tennessee Avenue Christian Academy has prepared students for college and for life — a private, college-preparatory school where Scripture, scholarship, and community shape every day.
That the generations to come might know Him.— Psalm 78:6
TACA exists to provide an affordable, Christ-centered education that enriches the lives of students and families through Biblical principles, academic excellence, athletics, fine arts, and outreach ministry.
From kindergarten through senior year, our students grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Every student receives Biblical instruction daily and gathers for Chapel each Wednesday — a rhythm that has shaped this community since 1994.
Our academic program encourages students to reach their fullest potential within an environment grounded in Scripture and the love of Christ. Small classes, dedicated faculty, and a curriculum that takes both faith and rigor seriously.
Meet our faculty & staff →The foundations: reading, writing, mathematics, and a love of learning rooted in the truth of Scripture.
A formative bridge — sharpening academic skills while exploring leadership, athletics, and personal faith.
College preparation, dual-enrollment opportunities, and the senior service project that culminates a TACA education.
A TACA education extends well past textbooks. From Crusader athletics to drama and praise band, from chapel to community service — students discover their gifts and learn to use them in service to others.
Volleyball, basketball, cross country, cheer, and a partnership with Bristol Soccer Association. Competition begins in 5th grade — but character building begins on day one.
Art, drama, and praise & worship — students lift their voices and shape their craft from elementary through high school.
Weekly chapel, daily Bible, and forty hours of community service — a faith lived out among neighbors and across the Tri-Cities.

A paraphrase of Philippians 4:8
We came for the academics. We stayed because our children are loved here — known by name, taught by faith, and challenged to become who God made them to be.
The best way to understand TACA is to walk through our halls, sit in on a class, and meet the families who call this place home. Schedule a tour or attend an upcoming open house — we'd be honored to host you.
